As BBC Journalist for its newly launched Pidgin Service, Favour Nunoo works from Accra by supplying timely rich, authoritative coverage of current affairs and digital video output for Ghana’s youthful audience and other Pidgin speaking West Africans.

Favour forms part of the BBC’s talented multimedia journalists in Africa working to expand the W2020 digital growth agenda with youth-driven content for BBC Pidgin, BBC Africa and the wider BBC.

Before joining the BBC Mr Nunoo had a two-year career stint with The Multimedia Group as a Senior Multimedia Jounalist for Joy FM/JoyNews. He was instrumental in the coverage of the 2016 general elections and was singled out for praise by former Electoral Commission boss, Charlotte Osei who described him as the epitome of an outstanding journalist.

Favour Nunoo has vast experience in media dating to year 2009 where he worked as a runner with Metro TV and evolved into a Reporter, Newe Anchor and later as Producer for leading current affairs flagship tv show, Good Evening Ghana.
